With or without an engineer
Even without a data engineer, every driver gets a detailed, personal briefing from PITLENS. With an engineer, PITLENS saves them time and lets them get into the data faster and in more detail.
For team principals
A good data engineer is often booked up already and, with several drivers, does not always have the time to serve every driver equally well and quickly.
With PITLENS every driver has a personal briefing after every session, and you work on the right things with them.
Even without a data engineer, every driver gets a detailed, personal briefing from PITLENS. With an engineer, PITLENS saves them time and lets them get into the data faster and in more detail.
With a comparative briefing the drivers sit down at one table and, using the time-loss maps on the same track outline, work out for themselves what the optimal approach to each corner is.
The briefing
Not every driver reads telemetry. In the chat they ask in plain words, for example “Where am I losing the most time?” or “What does Driver 7 do differently in T3?”, and get an answer that points to the laps behind it. That way gentleman drivers get more out of their data too, without the engineer answering every question himself.
The drivers watch the optimal video lap and see what is really optimal on this circuit. The footage is also a good way to train new drivers.
How the lap is built
With PITLENS you can guarantee a telemetry debrief after every session for every driver as part of your package. On the team Wi-Fi the drivers even dig into the data on their own tablet or phone, and at the end of the weekend every report is available as a PDF.
